Equestrian club in Riga for children

Daytime summer equestrian sports school for children in Riga with a unique program of entertainment, educational activities and riding invites boys and girls aged 6 – 15 who are not indifferent to horses to our equestrian summer club for horse lovers.

In the club, children will get to know horses, their character and habits better, as well as adventures on horseback are waiting for children. They will get acquainted with riding equipment and learn about horse care products.

Despite the fact that a lot of attention will be paid to horses, during the week children will be expected: fun relay races, creative tasks.

Despite the fact that the camp program is designed for beginners, but the pros will find a use for themselves. Our principle: the constant employment of the child, organized leisure, and at the same time – opportunities for creativity and initiative.

Camp time:

First shift – from 10.00 to 13.00
Second shift – from 14.30 to 17.30
Saturdays from 10.00 to 13.00 (course 4 lessons)
You can combine the first and second shifts!

how to get on and off a horse
the basic principles of horse management: the position of the body, arms, legs, skills in handling the bridle and stirrups,
start of classes: exercises – warm-up, landing on a horse, step, stopping the horse, training exercises (eight, snake),
preparation of the horse for riding (theory and practice),
walking exercises,
preparing the horse for riding and trotting,
depending on the student’s skills,
lessons on picking up a horse in a stable,

In case of bad weather, the children will be under a canopy or under a roof, taking care of the horses in the barn.

Small groups up to 10 people, individual approach to each child. The camp is designed for both children with skills and without.

Classes will be held bilingually – in Russian, Latvian and, if necessary, in English.

Price

From Monday to Friday (from 10.00 to 13.00 or from 14.30 to 17.30):
1 day – 35 euros (if you take not a full week, then also at the rate of 35 euros per day).
1 shift (5 days) – 145 euros
2 shifts (10 days) – 285 euros
4 shifts (month) – 475 euros

Saturdays: 4 lessons from 10.00 to 13.00 – 125 euros

Meals are not included in this price!
Discounts and promotions!
Bring a friend, girlfriend, brother or sister and get a discount of 10 euros each, 2 friends – 20 euros and so on! More friends, more discounts!
Participants from previous years are also provided with a discount of 10 euros per shift! How to get a? Leave a review in the comments about the camp and remind about the discount when you fill out the booking form on our website!

Also after classes or before classes, you can take individual riding lessons.
The cost of individual lessons is 15 euros / half an hour and 25 euros / hour
Additional lessons must be agreed in advance!

WE RECOMMEND THE FOLLOWING THINGS:

Boots;
sun hat;
Raincoat (like a poncho)
Several pairs of knee socks
Comfortable shoes with 1-3cm heel;
Pants made of natural material;
Insect repellent;
If available, riding clothes.
Riding helmets will be provided at the camp (if you have your own, you can bring your own, cycling helmets are also suitable).

For a better acquaintance with horses – a piece of sugar and a couple of apples, carrots.

*We recommend to insure the child before visiting the kono – sports club.
