Survival camp in Latvia “Robinson School” 2025

Лагерь выживания в Латвии 2025

Robinson Crusoe’s School
What child never imagined being an explorer, venturing into virgin and unknown wilderness? Unfortunately today’s life, studies and leisure make our children increasingly removed from nature. Our camp Robinson Crusoe’s School will help children acquire basic survival skills.
At our camp, children will learn to:
– pitch a tent
– make a campfire and cook food on it
– tie sailors’ knots
– orienteer using a compass and a map
– fight using safe, buffed weapons
– do archery
– take care of farm animals (horses, goats and ducks)
– work with wood
Kids will also learn teamwork, leadership and problem solving skills, emotions management while playing fascinating games, doing exciting quests, attending practical classes and hiking in the countryside.
The camp is situated away from the urban world, but within a very short driving distance from the nearest urban centres (20 minutes by car from Riga, 10 minutes from the nearest town, Baldone).
The children stay in tents, but the shower and WC are indoors, and it will be possible to sleep indoors in adverse weather. Four meals a day.
There will also be two horse riding lessons supervised by an experienced riding instructor.
